My son, Felix, was born 11 weeks early due to a placental abruption and an emergency C-section. He spent the first six weeks of his life in the Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU) at Tunbridge Wells Hospital. We were fortunate—despite his early arrival, he weighed 3lb 13oz, which is a good weight for his gestation. It was an incredibly traumatic time where I found solace behind my camera.
